We would like to highlight the event “The Tuscan Life Sciences Ecosystem: Industry, Innovation, Skills” organized by Confindustria Toscana, Digital Innovation Hub Toscana, and the University of Florence, which will be held on December 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Via Valfonda 9, Florence, at the headquarters of Confindustria Toscana Centro e Costa.
The event will be an opportunity to discuss the central role of life sciences and to present research on the characteristics and trends of the Tuscan ecosystem, carried out by the University of Florence with Confindustria’s Digital Innovation Hub Toscana, as part of the Tuscany Health Ecosystem project.
The proceedings will be opened by the President of Confindustria Toscana, Maurizio Bigazzi, and the Rector of the University of Florence, Alessandra Petrucci, with institutional greetings from the Councilor for Health, Health Rights, and Social Policies, Monia Monni, and the Councilor for Economy, Productive Activities, Credit Policies, Tourism, and Agriculture, Leonardo Marras.
This will be followed by a round table discussion, with the participation of high-profile entrepreneurs from the Life Sciences sector and representatives from the world of academia and research in Tuscany, on the opportunities and challenges for the development and support of the sector for the growth of the regional economy.
The event also aims to provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and create valuable new connections.
