Spoke 1 models and experiments with innovative approaches to radiotherapy and oncological diagnostics, such as the revolutionary FLASH Radiotherapy and new theranostic radiopharmaceuticals, with prospects for clinical implementation in the treatment of radioresistant tumors and a reduction in collateral effects and treatment times.
This new challenge has a strongly multidisciplinary nature, involving physicists, doctors, radio-oncologists, chemists, and biologists.

Spoke 1 includes preclinical studies and clinical validation, with impacts on sectors such as photonics, hospital accelerators, dosimetry, and treatment planning software.
