The initiative, funded under the 2021–2027 National Program for Research, Innovation, and Competitiveness for the Green and Digital Transition (PN RIC 2021–2027), Call for Proposals Administrative Decree No. 307 of March 18, 2025 , brings together universities, research institutions, IRCCS, healthcare organizations, and companies with the goal of integrating multidisciplinary expertise and promoting innovation in the omics sciences, precision medicine, and artificial intelligence applications.
Launched on June 1, 2026, and lasting 30 months, the project consists of three complementary actions:
OMNIA-BRIDGE4SOUTH (1.1.2),
OMNIA-INNOVATION4SOUTH (1.1.3b)
and OMNIA-EXCELLENCE4SOUTH (1.4.3),
aimed at strengthening scientific collaborations, promoting technology transfer, and consolidating excellence in research and innovation in Southern Italy.
The first day of the Kick-off Meeting, on July 1, is open to institutional, scientific, healthcare, and industry stakeholders and will be dedicated to presenting the project’s objectives and opportunities; the second day, on July 2, will be reserved for the partners to launch the project activities.
