The Ministry of University and Research has published the PRIN Hybrid 2026 call for proposals, the new funding line envisaged in the Three-Year Research Plan.
The PRIN Hybrid 2026 call for proposals provides €56.6 million to finance three-year projects that showcase multidisciplinarity and the dialogue between scientific, technological, humanistic, social, and artistic knowledge on the themes of new technologies.
Projects must focus on quantum technologies, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and innovative technologies and approaches in healthcare.
Each project is allocated between €1.2 million and €1.7 million. A 15% allocation of the total budget is reserved for projects submitted by researchers under 40 years of age at the time of publication of the call for proposals.
Applications will be accepted from 3:00 PM on April 20th to 3:00 PM on June 4th, 2026.
