The “Domus” Mobile Unit, created thanks to PNRR funds allocated to the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, is launched.

A collaborative project between ISPRO (Institute for Cancer Research, Prevention and Network) and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa is launched to bring mammography, HPV, HCV, and colorectal cancer screening tests closer to citizens in inland areas.

An innovative vehicle dedicated to multi-screening cancer programs (mammography, HPV, HCV, and colorectal) to bring prevention closer to communities in inland areas. This is the goal of the ‘Domus’ Mobile Unit, inaugurated today at the Casa della Comunità in Poppi, created thanks to PNRR funds allocated to the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisawithin the THE (Tuscany Health Ecosystem) ecosystem – which have enabled ISPRO (Institute for the Study, Prevention and Oncology Network) to acquire this new mobile unit. The initiative is the result of collaboration between the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and ISPRO, with the involvement of the South-East Tuscany Local Health Authority to test the proximity prevention project for inland areas in the field.
