Two evenings in Casentino combine art and science to showcase the Tuscany Health Ecosystem, the PNRR project that aims to make Tuscany the “region of health.” Art and scientific dissemination to engage citizens and communities.
Art and scientific dissemination come together to describe the future of Tuscany as a “health region.” This is the spirit of THE Tuscany Health Ecosystem Experience, a two-part event scheduled for Saturday, October 4, at the Berrettarossa Auditorium in Bibbiena and Saturday, October 18, at the Municipal Theater in Pratovecchio Stia.
The initiative was created to bring citizens closer to the Tuscany Health Ecosystem (THE), a project funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) that aims to connect scientific research, innovation, and the local area in order to develop new technologies dedicated to health and well-being.
Organized by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, which leads Spoke 10 of the national “Ecosystems of Innovation” program, the two evenings will see the collaboration of local authorities, local health authorities, healthcare institutions, and numerous associations in the area.
The Tuscany Health Ecosystem is the only Italian ecosystem entirely dedicated to life sciences and has obtained total funding of €110 million. The challenge is to transform Tuscany into a widespread health laboratory, with a direct impact on prevention, local healthcare, and quality of life.
In Casentino, the language of research will interact with that of art: schools, cultural associations, and local groups will bring music, dance, and theater to the stage, intertwining with scientific presentations and testimonials.
