In particular, lipid-based <b>nanomaterials<\/b> have been used for the administration and controlled release of various drugs and active molecules characterized by low bioavailability and solubility.<br>Recent technological advances and increased interest in these formulations have promoted the development of various types of third-generation nanocarriers.
