By improving threat detection, preparedness, and response capabilities of hospitals and health providers, it will create a safer and more secure environment for patients and healthcare professionals. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-caf1974 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"caf1974\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">In recent years, Member States have reported significant cybersecurity incidents affecting the healthcare sector\u2014more than in any other critical sector. This Action Plan addresses the specific and urgent threats facing the sector. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dc1d17a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dc1d17a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">To ensure the effective implementation and impact of the measures outlined in the Action Plan, the Commission invites stakeholders to contribute to the consultation. This includes citizens, healthcare professionals, healthcare authorities, patients, compliance and data privacy professionals, cybersecurity professionals, organizations, and academia, among others, to share their views.
