Building a Health Ecosystem in Tuscany’s Inner Areas through Citizen Engagement: Thursday, November 7, in Bibbiena, a Conference to Learn More about the PNRR Tuscany Health Ecosystem Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, which will also feature Sabina Nuti, President of the Sant\u2019Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, aims to identify solutions to improve quality of life for residents in Casentino and enhance the capabilities of Third Sector organizations operating in the area. The initial results of an online survey conducted among Casentino residents will be presented, focusing on key topics such as healthcare services, infrastructure, and transportation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scheduled for Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sala delle Bandiere of Palazzo Niccolini, the Bibbiena Town Hall, the conference titled \u201cBuilding the Health Ecosystem: Population Observatory and Mapping of Third Sector Organizations in Casentino\u201d will be open to all citizens. This meeting is an important opportunity to delve into the PNRR<\/strong> \u201cTuscany Health Ecosystem\u201d (THE)<\/strong> project, funded by the European Union<\/strong> through the Next Generation EU<\/strong> program. In this initiative, Sant\u2019Anna School coordinates Spoke 10, \u201cPopulation Health,\u201d partnering with local organizations ASL Sud Ovest and the Union of Casentino Municipalities to promote health and drive technological and organizational innovation.

The event, introduced by Filippo Vagnoli<\/strong>, Mayor of Bibbiena and President of the Casentino Health District, and Marzia Sandroni<\/strong>, Director of the Casentino Socio-Healthcare District, will focus on two fundamental elements for building a health ecosystem<\/strong> in these inner areas: the quality of life of the resident population and the potential of Third Sector entities operating in the region. Representatives from Sant\u2019Anna School, including Associate Professor Elena Vivaldi<\/strong> from the Dirpolis Institute, Researcher Filippo Quattrone<\/strong> from the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Health Science, and Research Fellow Andrea Chiappetta<\/strong>, will participate in person. The conference will close with remarks from Sabina Nuti<\/strong>, the President of Sant\u2019Anna School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building Casentino\u2019s Future Through Citizen Engagement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cPopulation Observatory\u201d aims to gather crucial data to improve quality of life in Tuscany\u2019s inner areas. The initial action was the launch of an online survey for residents of Casentino municipalities<\/strong>, providing an opportunity to share experiences and opinions on vital issues such as healthcare services, infrastructure, transportation, internet connectivity, and more. The conference will be a chance for Dr. Filippo Quattrone, who coordinates the Observatory, to present the first collected data and encourage citizens to actively engage in this initiative, which is also present in Garfagnana, Media Valle del Serchio, Versilia, and Elba Island. Community feedback will be essential in designing targeted interventions that meet local needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third Sector Organizations: A Key Asset in Health Generation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the morning, Professor Vivaldi will present initial results and future plans related to the mapping of Third Sector organizations in Casentino. In the afternoon, these organizations will take center stage in a dedicated meeting, where they will use a focus group approach to examine and collaboratively build potential action plans to strengthen network cooperation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the conference, the research team from Sant\u2019Anna School will explain how collected data will be used to improve local services and promote community well-being. The event will conclude with remarks from Professor Nuti, the President of Sant\u2019Anna School, and a roundtable discussion with local administrations and attendees.
